Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Complete reimbursement minus handling costs
Processing Time: 5-7 working days
Processing Fee: €50 for credit card transactions
Conditions: Must be applied for in written form via electronic mail or telephone communication
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half the entire charter cost
Processing Time: 7-10 working days
Processing Fee: €25 subtracted from the reimbursement amount
Conditions: Justifiable reason demanded; admin fees included
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Refunds not available
Exception: Situations of urgency may be taken into account
Alternative: At the discretion of our administration, credit for future charters may be extended
Conditions: Emergency situations necessitate supporting documents
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Weather Guarantee
The safety of our guests is paramount. Should the weather be deemed hazardous for navigation as determined by our qualified captain, we offer flexible alternatives:
- Full Refund: If rescheduling isn't an option, a full reimbursement is provided
- Reschedule: We will rearrange your charter to a subsequent open day at no extra charge
- Charter Credit: A voucher redeemable for 12 months from the initial date of your yacht charter
Weather Assessment Process
Our evaluation of weather conditions consists of:
- Analyzing velocity and orientation of the wind
- Monitoring wave magnitude and oceanic conditions
- Forecast evaluation of visibility and rainfall
- Maritime advisories and cautions from the Coast Guard
- Determinations on safety by our professional captain
Decision Timeline: Decisions relating to cancellation due to weather are finalized a minimum of 4 hours before departure time.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Emergency Circumstances
We are considerate of unforeseen medical emergencies. Scenarios that might be eligible for special accommodations include:
- Unanticipated illness or an accident demanding hospital care
- Passing away of a close relative
- Unexpected military summons or redeployment
- Serving on a jury or a legal subpoena
- Calamities impacting journey arrangements
Documentation Requirements
To handle a claim based on an emergency, kindly furnish:
- Medical verification or hospital records
- A death certificate, if the situation warrants
- Official documentation from the military
- Notices from the court or jury duty directives
- Advisories regarding travel or declarations of emergencies
Processing: Refunds tied to emergencies are executed within 3-5 working days after we receive and validate the necessary documents.
Operational Cancellations
Mechanical Issues
If the yacht assigned to your journey is beset with technical failures that can't be promptly rectified:
- Alternative Vessel: We endeavor to allocate an alternative vessel of comparable quality
- Full Refund: Should a substitute not be accessible
- Partial Refund: Adjusted if the alternative vessel is differently priced
- Compensation: Consideration for any hassle may be granted
Crew Unavailability
In the exceptional event that our certified crew is unavailable:
- Efforts will be made to secure an alternate crew
- Reimbursement in full if the charter cannot go ahead
- Re-booking offered with no added expense
Refund Processing
Payment Method
Reimbursements will be carried out via the original payment option utilized for the reservation:
- Credit Cards: Processed within 5-7 working days
- Bank Transfers: Completed within 7-10 working days
- Cash/Cheque: Finalized in 3-5 working days

A €50 fee is charged for cancellations done with more than 72 hours notice
Bank Transfer Processing
A €25 fee applies to all bank transfer refunds
International Processing
Additional charges may be incurred for international refund transactions
Charter Credits
When Credits Are Offered
Credits for future charters may be provided under specific conditions as an alternative to monetary refunds:
- For cancellations occurring with less than a day's notice
- Due to cancellations triggered by weather
- Where the client wishes to reschedule voluntarily
- In the event of disruptions in service
Credit Terms
- Validity: Credits are good for one year from the date of issue
- Transferability: Credits cannot be transferred to others
- Value: Reflects the full price of the charter without deduction for processing fees
- Usage: Applicable to any charter that's available
- Expiration: Credits expire after 12 months with no extension possible
Partial Service Refunds
Service Interruptions
Should your charter experience disruptions or shortened service due to factors within our control:
- Refunds calculated on the unused charter time on a pro-rata basis
- Credit for an equivalent future charter
- Complimentary upgrades or additional services
Guest-Related Interruptions
In instances where the charter must be halted prematurely due to the actions or safety violations of guests:
- No repayment for the remaining unused service
- Full payment is still required
- More costs can be levied

Disagreements concerning refunded amounts can be approached by:
- Requesting a reassessment by our administration team
- Presenting further details or evidence
- Appealing to consumer protection entities
- Exploring applicable legal options as per existing laws

- Refunds are issued in € irrespective of the currency used for the original payment
- We strongly recommend acquiring travel insurance
- This policy is subject to modifications, effective after a notice period of 30 days
